Thank you for choosing to donate to Chicago Charity Skool of Skills, Inc.
Have you heard what Skool of Skills is up to lately? We at Skool Of Skills have a love of the game of basketball, and we are using that love of game to get involved in the community. Skool of Skills has a vision of dealing with everyday examples of pain and suffering endured by Chicago's children and young adults.
Skool of Skills is a Chicago charity and not-for-profit organization focused on providing positive influences to our youth. Focused in the urban and suburban communities of Chicago where youths are equally impacted by society failings, Skool of Skills is geared up to create an intellectually stimulating environment anchored in athleticism and education.
This Chicago charitable organization is committed to uplifting the ideals which support youth development and to construct avenues for change where change is needed... changes in attitude, aspirations, and behaviors. Skool of Skills is provides Chicago basketball camps, after-school educational programs and community volunteer activities.
Your contribution will enable us to provide opportunities to further develop our athletic and educational programs. Of course, your charitable contributions are exempt from federal taxation.

Your support is needed and appreciated! Unlike other large non-profit organizations which receive donations from major corporations. Chicago's Skool of Skills make its way from its Board of Directors and you! So, In order to expand programs and help more kids, we need your support!
Why Donate to Skool Of Skills?
Skool Of Skills is a community-based charity network. We do not have grant writers or professional solicitors on staff. We work a regular job, like you do. After work and on weekends, we go into gear to help. We see the need everyday. We can do more. I personally enjoy teaching kids. I can think of no greater thing...than to give knowledge and understanding.
How Often Should I Donate to Skool Of Skills?
Well, that's up to you. We are a ongoing organization, doing things all year long. We don't stop unless the money's not there. Usually, we, the Board of Directors would chip in out of pocket to keep something going. As you may see, our programs do not require a ton of money to implement. We would like to see consistence in our programs and with the kids who look forward to the next event. We are always planning future events and programs. So your help is greatly needed!
Snail Mail vs. Google Checkout and Pay Pal
I would prefer to receive donations by Google and Pay Pal. They are secure and convenient. But, there's a cost to doing business with them...sometimes 2 to 3.5% fee. We have to pay back each time a donation is made. So, some prefer to use snail mail..and that's fine.
Should I Become a Member?Membership Benefits and Renewals? It cost $12.00 to become a member of SOS. That is if you decide to become a member. It's not required. So, if you decided to donate $50.00, you will automatically become a member for the year, should you elect to check the Become a Member button. Being a member does not give you voting rights . It does give you insight as to what is ongoing, dates of future events, a newsletter via email, and a discount on SOS gear in the future.
